Display the toolkit and choose the Fill Paint tool:
Place the cursor in the region you want to paint, and click. When you click in a region with the Fill Paint tool, the current color is applied to that region. You can go on applying the same color to other regions until you choose another color.
You can also paint one or more regions by dragging with the Fill Paint tool to create a rectangular bounding-box enclosing the region(s). Any regions inside the bounding-box which are not already painted will be painted with the current color.
You can save time if you have a number of regions to paint with the same color in a drawing. Paint the other regions first, then select the color for the remaining unpainted regions and drag out a bounding-box to paint these regions.
